INTRODUCTION
UNIQUE JR is a natural pretanning agent based on modification vegetable extract. It is ideal for all kinds of leathers in retanning. It can be used together with other vehetable extract or used as an auxiliary agent in wet-blue retanning process.
PROPERTIES
- Rapid penetration (dispersion).
- Cleaness and eveness grain.
- Allows leather put into accelerated tanning penetrate tank or drum directly .
- Can be used alone or in combination with syntans or other vegetable products.
- Allows shaving leather before starting tanning process.
USAGE
UNIQUE JR is specially recommended as a pretanning agent in sole leather and vegetable “vachetta” production where an important tannin exhaustion as well as weight and thickness increase is required. It is recommended to use 4 % to 6% after deliming and must be used after formic acid or sodium bisulphite to adjust Ph value. UNIQUE JR is also recommended to used in bag leather or watch strap leather. Normally at dosage 2-4% but should according to thickness and requirement of final leather.
In wet-blue vegetable retanning processes use 3% to 5% of UNIQUE JR on unneutralized leathers, half an hour before retanning process.
